Cerlac will beat its own activity record this year: more athletes, more countries and more beds sold. From January to the end of August, national teams and clubs from Germany, Algeria, Belarus, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, and Ukraine lodged in our Laias training centre: a total of 913 athletes, both rower and canoeist. Regarding clubs, the most represented country has been England, they were training in our facilities Eton, Oxford, Borlase, Vesta, Sherwsburry, Putney, Auriol, Oratory, followed by Germany with the Hessicher Ruderverband club and Rhein Main province. Cerlac appreciates the confidence expressed during this season, both the centre facilities and the staff taking care directly of the athletes. We wish them every success in their sporting activity.

Excellent training conditions for the second concentration of Eton juniors team in Laias
Second training camp in Cerlac for the junior male team of Eton, which is one of the principal English schools in the discipline of rowing. The English team, composed of 33 people including technical team and rowers, fulfilled the established goals, helped by the excellent training conditions of the Laias center. We’ll see you again in January 2019.

The Great Britain junior national rowing team had their third training camp in Laias from December 14 to 22 the main goal was choosing the final formation that will participate in the regattas of the 2018 season. They will be back to Laias to prepare Tokyo olympic games every season until 2020,
Seventh training camp for the national Belarus rowing team in Cerlac
Seventh training camp for the national Belarus rowing team in Cerlac in relation to improving the international competitions of 2018. It is the first “stage” of the season, after that they will come again during March and April of next year. The skiff rower will advance his stay in Laias training at the beginning of February.
Shrewsbury school improves its physical performance with a new concentration in Laias High performance rowing center
The Laias rowing center started the sports season on October 14 accommodating in its facilities 45 rowers of the English school SHREWSBURY. They had four training sessions a day, with the sights set at the Masters World Regatta, which will take place in Bled (Slovenia), and the goal is to get an international medal. For the Cerlac technical team it has been very gratifying seeing athletes training with an average of 60 years and with a total dedicaton during their daily training sessions.
Imperial College was hosting in Laias for de second time with a team of 68 people
The arrival of English clubs, colleges and universities continues to Laias and Arnoia Training Center. For example it’s the second time that Imperial College was hosting in Laias with a team of 68 people from April 18 to 26. During the training, the different teams showed that they were in a good shape, for this reason trainers said that they hope to obtain good results in the upcoming championships, as the historical regatta of Henley.

The excellent Miño River track conditions which is located in the Frieira reservoir allowed the team to maximize performance in search of the best results for this season.
